Well, I'm running 2.0.24 now, thanks,
I noticed that the sound configuration changed, but what used to be specified in /etc/sound.conf as hex address (0x220) and 0x330, now shows up as a default 220, which is misleading, as I think the use of the variable shows that it probably should have been 0x220.
I tried "make menuconf", but doesn't seem to be optimized for screen redraws on serial lines.
I went back to make config.
