The SCSI tape driver has been acting very strangely on my system. It's a Conner 4mm SCSI drive connected to an Adaptec 2940. I receive the following error when trying to use it:
/dev/st0: Operation not supported by device
It first appeared in 2.1.111 and then went away in 2.1.113 but is once again back in 2.1.114. I have compiled using the same options in all 4 kernels and I don't see any code directly related to the st driver in the 2.1.114 patch.
