Hi folks,
it seems that whenever I write to my Linux knfsd server from a Sun, the lockd dies and becomes a zombie and all NFS accesses become "Stale NFS handle"s.
Besides, symlinks are not represented as symlinks but as the file being pointed to. This is rather awkward as it poses all kinds of unexpected problems. Can I switch this off?
I'm using the 2.1.54+ SparcLinux kernel.
