I'm trying to figure out some strange behavior on a new dual Pentium II Xeon 450. This is stock kernel 2.2.7. Linux seems to think that I'm running a Celeron with no cache whatsoever.
Has anyone heard of this kind of mistaken identity? The /proc/cpuinfo info for one of the processors is below.
processor : 1 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 5 model name : Celeron (Covington) stepping : 3 cpu MHz : 451.032162 cache size : 0 KB fdiv_bug : no hlt_bug : no sep_bug : no f00f_bug : no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 2 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 mmx osfxsr bogomips : 448.92
