Folks have been telling me to enable ip_forward before loading up my ip
chains rules. I tried this, and it's certainly not the cause of my problems.
As soon as traffic from a masq'd host to the outside world kicks up, it
crashes the machine.

The main difference I've been seeing between my configuration and the
configuration of those who are masq'ing successfully with 2.1.129 is that
CONFIG_IP_ALWAYS_DEFRAG=y. Perhaps CONFIG_IP_MASQUERADE should depend on
CONFIG_IP_ALWAYS_DEFRAG? I'll try compiling again tonight with
CONFIG_IP_ALWAYS_DEFRAG and see if it eliminates my crashes.
