Subject2.6.25: pata_marvell/ahci/libata regression: ata7: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)
Hi,
I have a MSI P35Neo2 based machine having 3 SATA disks on
ICH9R controller providing 6 SATA ports (IDE/RAID/AHCI modes)
and on Marvell 88SE6111 chip have ATAPI-based CompactFlash
512MB device and DVD-ROM.

The two IDE ports of Marvell chip are supported by pata_marvell
and the devices get detected in my case under kernels 2.6.23.17
and 2.6.24.5 as ata7 and ata8:

The 2.6.25 kernel does not attach the IDE devices anymore. Because
I do have a root fs on the CompactFlash disk kernel panics. I can only
