Subject2.6.2-rc3: VIA ALSA Interrupt Bogosity
Hello,

I've found a problem that seems to relate to interrupt handling in ALSA
VIA Audio subsystem.

The userland symptom is merely that xmms goes into an audible loop when
one clicks the stop button.

A pkill for xmms and a reload of the alsa modules clears the issue,
e.g., xmms seems OK again.

This is on a GA-6VTXD mobo.

I have not figured out how to reproduce the issue. It does not happen
often, and does not seem to be correlated with any particular activity
that I can put my finger on. It does happen reliably after running for
a day or three.

Please let me know if I can help track this down. Please note that I am
not currently receiving LKML traffic.
