Note that Linus hasn't been up to date on my VM since
about 2.4.5. And before you blame me for not sending
patches, I did send them but Linus didn't apply them
for unknown reasons.

The VM in Alan's kernel pretty much has been the only
option for a reliable 2.4 kernel since 2.4.7.
