Subject2.4 : Consistent lockups with framebuffer
Enabling framebuffer with:

CONFIG_FBCON_CFB8=y

CONFIG_FBCON_CFB24=y
CONFIG_FBCON_CFB32=y
CONFIG_FONT_8x8=y
CONFIG_FONT_8x16=y

and lilo setup as:

vga=773
append="video=vesa:ypan,invers"

boots fine but hard lockups after login and doing a
ls -lR / or anything that scrollsup console screen a
lot. No messages in syslog.

kernel: test6-pre9
videocard: ATI Xpert98
mobo: Epox MVP3GM
cpu: K6-2
