Subject[OOPS] getting a bit farther tracking it.
Well I think I have rulled out the hardware on this motherboard.  I have run
memtest86, burnP6, and burnBX for very extended periods on time on this machine
with no errors or crashes.

The only time I see this problem is when I push the hard drives really hard. I
can "make clean; make -j2 bzImage" in a loop and nothing goes wrong. Even "make
-j bzImage" finished without complaints. But I can't get glibc to finish a
compile without error.

So I got out bonnie++ and ran it though it's paces. It finished fine. So I ran
a "bonnie++ -p 4" and started each of "bonnie++ -y" processes on seperate
VCs. That is when I got this oops (followed by a second NMI oops, which I
didn't copy down):
