SubjectTrouble with MultiTech serial card
Date
Hi,

I just purchased MultiTech ISI4604-PCI Intelligent Serial Interface.
I compiled my 2.2.14 kernel to support it. When I load the module and
try to access the card with stty < /dev/ttyM1a, I get segmentation
fault and the following stuff to syslog.

I downloaded the latest driver from MultiTech site and the problem is
the same. I even managed to kill my machine so that only the
powerswitch worked.

I am running a Dual P3 450 in Asus P2B-DS. BIOS detects the card fine
and /proc/pci shows it like this:
Bus 0, device 11, function 0:
Communication controller: PLX Unknown device (rev 1).
Vendor id=10b5. Device id=2051.
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ 11.
Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xe2000000 [0xe2000000].
I/O at 0xb400 [0xb401].
I/O at 0xb000 [0xb001].

Please help...

Cheers,

Kari
