Is anyone working on integrating PCI-X into the kernel? It appears to add another entry to the capabilities list (which is easy to do). I assume that PCI-X devices would need to write drivers that read/write the bits in the new capability entry. What else is involved?
Below is a patch to add the bit definitions to pci.h, taken from the PCI-X 1.0 Spec. plus 5/17/00 errata Rev. Z.
