SubjectCMD bug report - any progress?
Hi Andre!

Have you got any good news in the CMD front?
I am now using your latest patch (ide.2.2.15-14.20000324.patch.bz2), and
2.2.15-pre14 kernel. Here is the problem demonstrated:
[root@iq /root]# hdparm -d1 -i -tT /dev/hde

/dev/hde:
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
using_dma = 0 (off)

UDMA modes: mode0 mode1 mode2

Timing buffer-cache reads: 128 MB in 1.80 seconds =71.11 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 64 MB in 25.91 seconds = 2.47 MB/sec
[root@iq /root]#

output of dmesg, and my .config and my /proc/pci are attached. Please! I
need this working! You told me it is!
