SubjectEEK! Able to eject mounted Zip Disk (2.3.46/2.2.13)
Linux byers 2.3.46 #2 Fri Feb 18 23:44:59 GMT 2000 i686 unknown

Iomega Zip Plus (/dev/sdb4) using parallel port mounted on /mnt/zip.

[root@byers /home/www]# mount /mnt/zip
[root@byers /home/www]# eject /dev/sdb

Click and out it comes...
but...

[root@byers /home/www]# mount
/dev/sda3 on / type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
/dev/sda7 on /var type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/sda6 on /tmp type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/sda8 on /home type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/sda9 on /usr type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/sda10 on /scratch type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/sda1 on /mnt/c type vfat (rw,gid=1000,umask=007)
/dev/hda1 on /mnt/hda type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/hdc1 on /mnt/web type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/sdb4 on /mnt/zip type vfat (rw,gid=1000,umask=007)
[root@byers /home/www]# mount /mnt/zip
mount: /dev/sdb4 already mounted or /mnt/zip busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sdb4 is already mounted on /mnt/zip

If I do:
eject /dev/sdb4
then it tells me it's mounted and refuses.

Does anyone else see this?

Simon.
