SubjectProblem with SCSI DDS3-streamer
When I want to back up data with a new DDS3-streamer (12 GB data/tape) ,
I get I/O-errors and dmesg shows me:

What can be the reason for this behaviour?
I used a HP DDS-Streamer (4 GB) successfully. It wrote a backup on the
tape and didn´t complain about anything.
The reason why we need the new streamer is that 4 GB is not enough for
all data fit on one tape.
Why does the 12 GB drive not work correctly?
