Hello,
Explicitly adding path[ide]=/lib/modules/2.3.99-pre1/ide to /etc/modules.conf fixes this problem. Where does modprobe get it's default pathnames from? Is it hardcoded into modprobe or does it get hints from the kernel somehow?
Met vriendelijke groet, Guus Sliepen.
