2.2.15pre5 keeps freezing when memory is near exhaustion. Hard reboot is the only way out, and usually there is nothing in kern.log or syslog. This is what I catched last night:
Feb 2 22:19:35 badija kernel: Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2 Feb 2 22:20:11 badija last message repeated 2 times Feb 2 22:21:11 badija last message repeated 7 times Feb 2 22:21:21 badija kernel: Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2 Feb 3 06:25:10 badija kernel: Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2 Feb 3 06:26:20 badija last message repeated 3 times Feb 3 06:26:23 badija kernel: Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2 Feb 3 09:53:20 badija kernel: klogd 1.3-3#31, log source = /proc/kmsg started. [snip, hard reboot]
Running Debian 2.1:
Linux badija 2.2.15pre5 #1 Fri Jan 28 08:41:05 CET 2000 i686 unknown ii libc6 2.0.7.19981211 GNU C Library: shared libraries
