Maybe this is because I called this machine - hilbert, so now it gives me
nothing but very interesting and exciting Problems... in fact too many of
them :)

There was a similar problem reported with test9 that seems related.
(included below). Rik, what do you think?

Hi!

The following BUG related oopses caused my machine to die (well, X didnt
survive...) while just compiling a little program. I dont know if these
issues are fixed yet within one of the floating patches, so here goes the
report (dmesg stripped a little).
