Subject2.3.36 doesn't boot on my Alpha



AlphaStation 200 (Avanti)
The SCSI controller is not correct recognized in the newer kernels
(don't know when it started, the last which worked and was tested was
2.3.13
or so..)

This is the boot message:

eth0: DE434/5 at 0x8800 (PCI bus 0, device 11), h/w address

and requires IRQ15 (provided by PCI BIOS).
