I hope this email is not off topic
Hi
When I change an IP Alias on Solaris it will send an ARP request that will update the ARP cache from our router. To get the same behaviour on Linux I have to use the send_arp command that I can get with "fake". I am not a programmer therefore I would like to ask if someone plans to implement this feature in an upcoming Linux kernel version?
