Hi Linux developers, I have a problem with my mouse(I'm not sure if it's a bug in the kernel). I used kernel 2.0.35 and there was no problem but now I'm using 2.2.8 and the problem is: very often when there is a Hard disc activity on my PC the mouse pointer jumps to the left side of the screen when I try to move it.Sometimes it becomes almost unusible. The problem is not in gpm nider in XFree86 I've chrcked this and i'm sure about it.So I'do not know where the problem may be if it is not in the kernel.I've compiled few kernels but there was no change. I have tested 5 Machines: 1.AMD K6-2/350MHz Serial mouse -NO PROBLEM 2.Intel Pentium II /400MHz PS/2 mouse -NO PROBLEM 3.AMD K6-2/300MHZ PS/2 mose -NO PROBLEM 4.Intel 486DX4/100MHz Serial mouse - ##### PROBLEM ##### 5.AMD 486DX2/80MHz Serial mose (My computer*) - ##### PROBLEM ##### *5 years old but I'have no money for better one ,I'm living in Bilgaria unfortunately :-) NOTE! I've tested all machines with Slackware 4.0 (the standart kernel from the CD version 2.2.6, my computer is tested with 2.2.8 too). If you know something about this please help me! Thanks in advance! Waiting for your REPLY. best regards, Rumen Bogdanovski
