SubjectGPF in Linux 2.2.1

I recently compiled Linux 2.2.1, but replaced the default.map (the
default keyboard map) with my own (A portuguese layout) and now, every
time I run loadkeys, it simply gpf's. No other harm done, the system runs
flawlessly, but it has that bug

I am running it on a Pentium 100MHz, w/ 64MB RAM.

Um abraco,
Antonio Trindade.
