My patches are mostly merged to tcpdump.org. I still did not look
at the result, but I hope maintainer ignored all these idiosyncrasies. 8)
(Deleted Dave's uid, at least 8))

I still did not prepare merge patch for libpcap though.
If you, guys, find time to help, it would be great.
It has lots of conflicts in IPv6 BPF compiler, KAME version
is more advanced.
