Here's an oops I got in 2.2.0-pre8. I was renaming a top directory in a vfat partition: /dosd is a mount point % cd /dosd/cdrom % rm -rf * % cd .. % mv cdrom w98 Segmentation fault - and kernel oops.
It is reproducible. It does not oops under 2.2.0-pre7. Here's the oops:
