kernel 2.2.0-pre8 eepro100.c v1.06 multicast_filter_limit = 3 compiled for SMP (i.e. exactly same as above, but with SMP support) doesn't work Error messages in syslog: Jan 20 15:29:45 park kernel: eth0: Transmit timed out: status 7048 0000 at 3/18 command 0003a000. Anyone have any idea why? I'll be glad to run tests to check any conjectures about what is causing this.
