I am using the lastest binutils and gcc 2.8.1
apm_bios.c: In function `apm_get_event': apm_bios.c:475: fixed or forbidden register was spilled. This may be due to a compiler bug or to impossible asm statements or clauses. cpp: output pipe has been closed make[3]: *** [apm_bios.o] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.1.120/drivers/char' make[2]: *** [first_rule] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.1.120/drivers/char' make[1]: *** [_subdir_char] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.1.120/drivers' make: *** [_dir_drivers] Error 2
