| |
Hello everyone!
I compiled 2.1.120 and installed it today.
I use pgcc 1.1a to compile, with the standard CFLAGS plus -mamdk6.
There seems to be a problem with joliet CDs (at least Level 1) , I can mount it and dmesg tells me that it is a joliet disc but when trying to access (cp or whatever) a file it says the file isn't there although it is listed by "ls". cp -R /cdrom/directory / tells me that the files within the directory doesn't exist, the directory is copied though..
This is 100% reproducable with Joliet Level 1 CDs, Level 3 works fine (dunno about anyother levels..)
This worked with 2.1.119 which also was compiled with pgcc 1.1a.
*I won't cut'n'paste anything since that could be used against me =)*
About IP masquerade... I get lots of questions about this. Everyone using masq gets these tcp checksum errors (in dmesg or whereever). I believe these checksum error cause a rather huge slowdown upon the interface that is masqueraded. I can't really guarantee the slowdown but I see no other rason why it should slowdown.
Q: Will/Can this problem be fixed? If so, anyone working on it or planning to work on it?
I know this question has been on the list before but I can't remember I ever saw a concrete answer..
Thanks in advance and don't be afraid to ask questions about my setup or send patches for me to try out in these areas.. -- Med vänlig hälsning Kalle Andersson kalle.andersson@mbox303.swipnet.se
