SubjectIDE problems ( set_multmode:error=0x04 {Drive Status Error} )

Hello everybody!

I have see something wrong on my Debian 2.0 with (kernel 2.0.34) on
one pentium pro II.

When system boots the following messages appear:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Partition Check:

hda:hda: set_multmode
ststus=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error}

hda: set_multmode:error=0x04 {Drive Status Error}

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can you help me with my hda problems?

1.-What this mean?
2.-There is somethig to do for correct this bug/error?
3.-It's safe ignoring this message?
