Hi!
This is from ppp.c, ppp_ioctl(), and it does not look too correct to me:
case PPPIOCSMRU: /* * Set the MRU value */ if (get_user(temp_i, (int *) param3)) break; if (temp_i < PPP_MRU) temp_i = PPP_MRU; if (ppp->flags & SC_DEBUG) printk(KERN_INFO "ppp_ioctl: set mru to %x\n", temp_i); error = 0; break;
You see? temp_i is set to value get from userland, printed by printk(), but forgot afterwards.
