Subject2.1.115: processes hanging in close() on /dev/dsp
Hi!

I've just started playing with sound on my box again after some
time, and noticed that almost any process that accesses the
/dev/dsp, hangs on exit, never leaving the close() call.

I've got a GUS Classic 3.7, with 1 meg onboard, kernel 2.1.115,
gus i/o 0x220, dmas 6 and 7, irq 11.

If I remember correctly there was a discussion about this before.
It is not fixed in 2.1.115, though.

Any ideas about what to do about it?
