Hello,
Since the last time I posted, I was able to compile .2.1.117, and all is well
except two things. When the kernel boots I get two messages that kind of get on
my nerves, the modem works but I still get the message, PPP: version 2.3.3 (demand dialling)
PPP line discipline registered.
tty_io.c: process 199 (pppd) used obsolete /dev/cua1 - update software to use /dev/ttyS1
registered device ppp0
tty_io.c: process 199 (pppd) used obsolete /dev/cua1 - update software to use /dev/ttyS1
tty_io.c: process 496 (pppd) used obsolete /dev/cua1 - update software to use /dev/ttyS1
tty_io.c: process 545 (pppd) used obsolete /dev/cua1 - update software to use /dev/ttyS1
tty_io.c: process 627 (pppd) used obsolete /dev/cua1 - update software to use /dev/ttyS1

Even though I rm'ed /dev/modem and then did a ln-s /dev/ttyS1 /dev/modem
I still get this message.

Also there is another thing in the kernel that bothers me,
it says that the device is busy (sb.o) and also that this device has more than
one DMA and the (max1) now what is the deal???

Solutions anyone???????
