SubjectAssembler warning in 2.0.33
Date
I've been having so many problems with oopses and aic7xxx that I decided to
try dropping back. WAY back. I got source for 2.0.33 and compiled it.
During the compile, I noticed this and wondered if it's something to worry
about. Sounds like it is, but the compile completed successfully and the
kernel is running well.

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.0.33/include -D__ASSEMBLY__ -traditional
-c
entry.S -o entry.o
/tmp/cca01620.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/cca01620.s:257: Warning: warning: missing prefix *' in absolute
indirect address, maybe misassembled!

Thanks...

Michael
