I tried the new vesafb and liked it :)
But there are some glitches. Probably some of them are already reported/fixed, but I'll list all I noticed.
vgacon: * when resizing to a larger resolution with SVGATextMode, the new lines are filled with junk. (probably they need clearing at console.c:645)
vesafb: * logo is in wrong colors. (I tried 8bpp) * when running in 800x600 8x16 font, there is little unused area at the bottom. When exiting from X, the area is not cleared, and filled with old X junk. Similar thing happens when switching from console set to 8x8 font to other console with 8x16 font, because the unused area has different size. * cyan is wrong (I saw this already fixed)
Alexander.
