Subject[OFFTOPIC] GCC Stuff
Hello:

First, let me apologize for the off topic post. I've been playing around
with gcc on my system, and monitoring the kernel mailing list. There are
lots of emails posted with "diffs" and "patches". I would like to learn
more about what these are, and they get applied to standard C code. Does
anyone know of documentation (possibly a tutorial) that they can point me
at? Please don't respond with man gcc.

Thanks, and again, apologies for the off-topic post.

- Mike
