Well... they say it: it's everything in the Linux Multicast HOWTO ;-)
It's quite new, so perhaps you did not notice it had been added to
the LDP. Hope it is usefull.

BTW, prior to 2.0.34 there was a little bug in multicast code. If you
use your Linux box as a multicast router, it will forward multicast
traffic generated in your LAN, but it will not forward multicast
traffic generated in the Linux box that runs the mrouted.

It is corrected in 2.0.34.
