Subjectweird linux-2.104pre1 boot problems
I see that loadlin-1.6a refused to boot the linux-2.1.104pre1
kernel (with a bunch of local tweaks) that I compiled. It prints out
a paragraph suggesting that there might be something wrong with setup.S,
and yet it booted 2.1.99 just fine. I also see that when I run lilo
on an msdos boot floppy with this kernel, the floppy will boot, but
it is no longer recorgnized as an msdos floppy by the msdos filesystem
driver if I try to remount it later. I will be investigating this
stuff. I just wanted to mention it now in case anybody experiences
something similar. I have not yet tried to reproduce these problems
with 2.1.105.
