Subject2.1.105; setserial fails to set-up multiport card
Date
From
As of some fairly recent kernel (it still worked in the 90s) setserial
is no longer able to set up my BOCA 6-port card.

[root@nova /root]# setserial -v /dev/ttyS2 port 0x220 irq 5 autoconfig
Cannot set serial info: Invalid argument

This is on a RedHat 5.1 system. If I boot into 2.0.34 it's fine. I've
tried compiling a fresh setserial to be sure it got the headers from
105, but no change in results.

Any thoughts, things to try?
