Running make check for the current egcs snapshot which uses dejagnu as test tool I get lots of those warning:
Jun 8 16:41:26 arthur kernel: Warning: dev (03:0b) tty->count(0) != #fd's(1) in do_tty_hangup Jun 8 16:42:14 arthur kernel: Warning: dev (03:0b) tty->count(0) != #fd's(1) in do_tty_hangup Jun 8 16:43:17 arthur kernel: Warning: dev (03:0b) tty->count(0) != #fd's(1) in do_tty_hangup Jun 8 16:44:25 arthur kernel: Warning: dev (03:0b) tty->count(0) != #fd's(1) in do_tty_hangup Jun 8 16:49:19 arthur kernel: Warning: dev (03:0c) tty->count(0) != #fd's(1) in do_tty_hangup [...] Jun 8 20:41:50 arthur kernel: Warning: dev (03:0b) tty->count(0) != #fd's(1) in do_tty_hangup $ grep "Warning: dev" /var/log/kernlog |wc 73 949 7008
I don't get those warning during normal operation (and if I get them only an odd one). But with 2.1.103 I got them while checking egcs and now again.
My system: Linux 2.1.105 (compiled with gcc 2.7.2.3), glibc 2.1 snapshot, i486, egcs snapshot tested with dejagnu-980528.
Is there anything I can do to help fixing this?
