Hello,
Trying 2.1.107 I noticed some stuff I missed to put in the kernel, so I reco{nfigur, mpil}ed it (in 2.1.107, was 2.0.34 before) and make bzImage/modules randomly dies with error 139 (in a subdirectory), then error 2. No errors from gcc at this point. Repeating make (until it finally succeeds - it dies at random places - one time here, one time there) builds a fine kernel, though (as far as I can say).
System is RedHat 5.1, kernel was compiled with gcc-2.7.2.3, make is 3.76.1 and glibc is 2.0.7 (any dependencies I missed?).
Any ideas?
