Subject2.1.107 problems/changes?

I just recently subscribed to this list, so if this has been
mentioned before, I'm extremely sorry...

I just now installed and compiled the 2.1.107 kernel, as I
recently stopped using the 2.1.x kernels and was using the 2.0.34pre
kernels.... I decided to switch back to 2.1.x, and since 107 was the
newest, I got it...

I boots up and works fine, except for two small things..

1) 2.0.x kernels and earlier 2.1.x kernels detected my CPU fine
(Cyrix 6x86/200) and rated it at 149.50 BogoMIPS. 2.1.107 is not detecting
it (CPU = unknown) and is only giving it 117 BogoMIPS now...

2) The RShift-PgUp scroll-back buffer doesn't work anymore?

The kernel was compiled with the egcs-1.0.3 using -O6 in the
CFLAGS... thanks in adavance for any help...
