composing filesystems out of multiple partitions requires advance planning and
limits what size chunks you can remove. This capability is most useful for the
case where one filesystem is filling up and another is almost empty (you guessed
wrong when you set the sizes on install) in order to move some empty space from
one filesystem to another.
