SubjectRe: linux-2.1.103 scsi-modules and aic7xxx hangs system
Thank you VERY much.  The new version of the SCSI driver,
aic7xxx-5.0.17, proved to be the fix. This also fixed my OPPS on access
to /proc/ioports and /proc/interrupts.
