I know this problem has probably been asked many times before, but I have drives that I can see underneath Win95 but not linux. I upgraded from 2.0.30 to 2.0.34 and tried both nls/vfat/fat module support and now have them directly in the kernel. Still can't mount them.
Gives me an error message along the lines of [MS-DOS FAT, 12 Rel, FAT-16, uid=0, gid=0, etc.]
is this saying that it's Fat16? *puzzle* How can I tell which one it's using, and what does .34 support? Has anyone made any types of fixes in regards to these problems, or is it my own stupidity =) (*im not afraid to admit it when it is the case*).
Any ideas?
