SubjectLittle keyboard oddity in 2.1.106
Hi,
I have noticed something odd about the keyboard in 2.1.106ac1 and switching
consoles--sometimes when I switch to a console, then switch back to say, tty2,
and type "ps xa" in the shell prompt or something, on a rare occasion when I
first hit the "p" key, it enters about 8 p's or so, when I:
a.) Did not hold the key down, but only tapped it
b.) Had an empty shell prompt before I hit the key
this will happen with any key--say I switch to tty6 and, a little later, I
switch back there and type "ls" ... the "l" will be entered like 5 times or
something. As far as I see, there's no pattern to it...
BTW, this has appeared in several other kernels--I didn't have much of a problem
with it during 2.1.105, but before that it was a problem--and 2.0.33.
