Ever since 2.1.102 up to the recent pre-patch-2.1.104, I have found drivers/sound/lowlevel/Config.in missing, and thus have received some odd messages from my compiler.
gcc -O2 -D__KERNEL__ -DMODULE -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -m486 -c init.c -o init.o init.c:64: parse error before `EXPORT_SYMTAB_not_defined' init.c:64: warning: type defaults to `int' in declaration of `EXPORT_SYMTAB_not_defined' init.c:64: warning: data definition has no type or storage class init.c:65: parse error before `EXPORT_SYMTAB_not_defined' init.c:65: warning: type defaults to `int' in declaration of `EXPORT_SYMTAB_not_defined' init.c:65: warning: data definition has no type or storage class make: *** [init.o] Error 1
For one, why is the config script missing, and two, is this related to the problem spat out by my compiler?
