We have a process running on a Linux box. This process has a memory leak and continues to consume memory until it gets to 32 M. When it reaches this point it Seg faults and exits without a core file.
Does the Linux kernel pose some type of limit on a process that's going berserk?
One other note, the process is multi-threaded and uses the pthreads library. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rodney D.
