Subjectcrashme study

I can confirm the crashme results on the K6 -- after 6717 subprocesses the
machine hung hard. I don't know how long it had been running, but it was
several hours. I used the same arguments to crashme as Andreas did in his
tests.

Data points:

K6 stepping 2, Apollo VP2 chipset, FIC 2007 board, Tulip ethernet, GUS Pnp
Pro, IDE drives, Matrox video, 2.0.34pre11 or 12, I don't remember right
now. I'll upgrade to the latest prerelease and see if that changes
anything.
