#1 "we already used up all the time in the schedule for x,
so all you can work on is y".

#2 "i say x is good, go fix y -- and i am your manager".

I've been up all night fighting with an inherently racy design because
of #2 and I am pretty bitchy about it. I get a lot of #1 too.
