SubjectMTRR patch v1.16
Hi, all. I've released v1.16 of my MTRR (set Memory Type Range
Registers) patch. It may be found at:
http://www.atnf.csiro.au/~rgooch/kernel-patches.html

For those who don't know what this is about: you can gain an easy 2.5x
speedup blitting images to your PCI video card if you have a PPro/PII.

This patch is against kernel 2.1.98, although it should still patch to
2.1.97.

NOTE: people with certain types of GigaByte SMP boards which have
different BogoMIPS values for their processors or get lockups on boot
should find this patch useful.

CALL to people with more than 2 CPUs: please let me know if this works
for you too (it should).

Changes since v1.15:

- Use atomic bitops for setting SMP change mask (this is a minor
improvement for the diagnostic message)

Regards,

Richard....
