so three days and 3 reboots. not a good ratio at best.. Something is occuring exactly 3 hours after pppd is hung-up which causes the system to stop responding entirely. It is completely dead. I'm using the lastest pppd 2.3.4. The system is glibc 2.0.7 with 2.1.97 NON-SMP as I had trouble attempting a SMP compile (ie it booted, but the modules would not load due too missing symbols)
